We recognise that one of the biggest difficulties for starting a community energy project, can be getting it funded. So, we’ll be kicking off next year with our ‘Get Funded’ workshop to help new and existing groups better plan their funding strategy!

This workshop will be open to all groups, with the aim of exploring the following:
– What activities do community energy groups need funding for?
– Who are the ‘friendly’ funders that groups have been successful receiving funding from?
– What activities to these friendly funders typically cover?
– open funding calls
– Do groups want to collaborate on the delivery of a large-scale community energy project?
The workshop will feature advice directly from some well-known funders, and there will be the chance for some Q&A – so save the date, plan your project and get your community energy crew along on Tuesday 12th February.
